AC Milan have secured a Champions League qualification with the three points which were secured yesterday against Lazio at the Olimpico stadium.

As per Calcio e Finanza, this generates fresh revenue for Milan, worth at least 30 million euros already.
According to the source, UEFA would distribute around 2 billion euros to clubs for participation in the Champions League.
- 25% will be allocated to the starting fees (500.5 million euros compared to 488 million in 2018/21), equal to 15.64 million euros for each club;
- 30% will be allocated to fixed amounts relating to services (€ 600.6 million compared to € 585 million in 2018/21);
- 30% will be awarded on the basis of the ten-year yield coefficient rankings (€ 600.6 million compared to € 585 million in 2018/21);
- 15% will relate to the variable portions linked to the market pool (€ 300.3 million compared to € 292 million in 2018/21).

Always according to the source, Inter are Milan are already sure to collect 15.64 million euros (in the extreme scenario of finishing fourth in the league and not getting any win in the Champions League next season) with another 5 million euros for the market pool. Plus, there is the fee linked to the ten-year / historic ranking, which for the Nerazzurri and Rossoneri in the 2021/22 season was worth approximately 16 and 17 million euros respectively. Now, we are sure that Inter will receive more money in 2022/23 after overtaking AC Milan in the standings in the ten-year / historical ranking.
