InvestCorp/Elliott: "Positive outlook"
These are the words which sources at Calciomercato.com chose to describe the ongoing talks between Elliott Management and the Bahrain-based investment fund.
The negotiations between both parties are well underway with important steps forward being taken in the last period.

The same source claims that there is realism but also great optimism in this context between the two investment funds which are in very advanced talks. As for the finalisation of the deal, it would take a few more weeks.
Elliott, since the takeover from the Chinese, poured 700 million euros in total into the club and they would want a 1 billion euros at least which is a realistic fee given that now the Serie A giants are in a much healthier condition financially.

InvestCorp's Vision:
The Arab fund, for their part, want to keep Milan financially healthy and sustainable with "a lot of correctness, responsibility and being down to earth." There is also the desire to make important signings in the summer. The team should be young but with a "couple of names of international appeal." Among the plans of the potential buyers is to create a more competitive youth academy in order to bring important talents to the first team.
The balance sheet of the Rossoneri did already improve significantly. But, InvestCorp do realise that there is a great room for upgrades in that area of the club. Another important aspect to focus on is creating new sources of revenue. The idea is to focus on providing quality services that will generate cash to the club. In this context, the Arab investment firm are eyeing up the models of the Premier League clubs. Obviously, the first pillar for this financial aspect of the project is building a new stadium.

InvestCorp are very serious to secure AC Milan:
The Bahrain-domiciled investment fund have not had experiences in football before. But, they managed great brands and helped relaunch them, such as Gucci, Corneliani and Dainese. In this sense, AC Milan are a club with a huge international brand and image as well as a lot of untapped potential. The Arab fund would like to take the Rossoneri to the top of the European football again and they have a very serious project, concludes Calciomercato.com
