Rafael Leao's renewal with AC Milan: A twist in the talks...
The talks between the Portuguese left-winger's entourage and the Rossoneri management have been continuous lately. The parties were looking to find a definitive agreement. However, it seems that there is now a change in the plans of Jorge Mendes.
In fact, the legal dispute with Sporting Lisbon and the compensation that should be paid to that club is making the forward worry. This is what made him even ask for a bigger salary. The latest offer put on the table by Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara is said to be around 4.5 million euros net per season plus bonuses.
As per Calciomercato.com, the player's agent Jorge Mendes has let Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara know of an offer received from an English club (there are rumours that the club in question may be Manchester City). AC Milan, though, have not put their starlet for sale.
But there is a pricetag...
Although Rafael Leao is not in the transfer market for Milan, the club may be willing to listen to offers over 70 million euros.
The source claims that InvestCorp could play a big role in the talks because once they purchase the club, then they can decide to accept the demands of Jorge Mendes or evaluate the offers coming from interested parties.
