AC Milan management is focused on finishing the season well. But, that does not mean that they’ve hit the pause button on the transfer market window plans. Club technical area director Paolo Maldini and his colleague who is the sporting director Frederic Massara have some ideas to strengthen the team of Stefano Pioli in the summer.
There are already talks about Sven Botman, Renato Sanches and Divock Origi being possibly the first three signings in the summer, in addition to the arrival of Yacine Adli from Bordeaux. But, it is not excluded that the Rossoneri try to go for an important mercato shot in the summer if an opportunity presents itself. ( For example, Gazzetta talks about a ‘possible’ signing of Riyad Mahrez).
As per Il Giornale, AC Milan could enter the race to try and sign Juventus’ star attacking midfielder Paulo Dybala who is set to exit the Bianconeri on a free transfer.
Inter are currently a strong candidate to take the player on a contract providing 6 million euros post-tax salary per season plus bonuses. There is temptation for Dybala to go for the Nerazzurri, but he will be more motivated to find an ambitious project that would suit him better.
Il Giornale adds that Dybala would accept a similar deal proposed by AC Milan. The Rossoneri managers, for their part, are considering to send forward an official offer.
The Milanese clubs are not the only ones interested as AS Roma, Atlético Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are reportedly keen on him too.
