RedBird have clear field in front of them, reportedly, to purchase AC Milan. A total agreement between Elliott Management and the fellow American company is still not found yet with InvestCorp having put their offer on hold.
According to what is reported by the daily Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, the strategy of the potential new owners should not be too different from that of Elliott.
As per the source, in fact, the goal for the new owners, in case they do take over, is to renew contracts of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara. Then, there will be the contract extension of Portuguese star Rafael Leao. They will also be working on finalising transfer deals of Renato Sanches and Sven Botman from Lille.
