AC Milan full-back Davide Calabria has spoken at length to the microphones of those at SportMediaset. Here are his words about the Scudetto number 19 for the Rossoneri:
"The medal is a source of pride. I am happy with what we have done and this is an award we deserved. I saw how hard we all worked this year and the only way to feel fulfilled was to win. This is the beginning of a new path as we become more confident for the future, but it is also a reward of what we have been through in these months and years. From the first day of training camp last year, we believed in this championship and we knew that we could compete with other teams."
Davide Calabria added:
"We believed in it more than the others, probably because even in difficult moments we knew we could bring home a positive result. This is a young team with some more experienced players to guide us. The mentality of the team made the difference, it was fundamental. If the captain's championship is worth double? Absolutely yes. It's fantastic for someone like me, who grew up in the youth sector and also as a fan since childhood. I hope to be a source of inspiration for the guys who are watching us because they can do it too."
