AC Milan, champions of Italy, now will have to raise the bar. In some phases of this season, the Rossoneri team suffered due to lack of depth in some positions and the goal for now is to improve the quality of the team. In particular, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara want to make Stefano Pioli's squad more competitive. That is why the work on the transfer market must begin now.

According to what is reported via Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's print edition, the club directors have been following a profile in Serie A who can add depth to the bench of the Rossoneri in the attacking department.
The source claims that the former Inter striker Marko Arnautovic is in the club's radar. A player with an impressive 15 goal tally in 35 appearances. His contract with Sinisa Mihajlovic's team, Bologna, is running out on 30 June 2024.
For the Rossoblù, though, the player is not for sale. Arnautovic who is an ambidextrous 33-year-old Austrian centre-forward would be tempted to try the experience of playing for the red and black faithful and get a taste of Champions League football again.
