Simon Kjaer season-ending injury was sustained back in December 2021. Since then, he has been working hard and according to strict scheduled in order to get back to an ideal physical shape.
The Dane’s agent, and former footballer, Mikkel Beck spoke to SerieANews.com exclusively about the AC Milan star defender:
“Simon is fine. His mood is over the moon. After the title victory, he and the whole team are proud of what they have achieved over the course of this long and successful season.”
He added:
“Signing for Milan and winning the Scudetto with the Rossoneri is a dream for Simon. After the victory, we felt that he was very happy, truly super-emotional. It was a great moment for him and for the team.”
On Kjaer’s growth as a player when he arrived to Milan, Mikkel Beck said:
“Now, Simon is one of the best defenders in the world, not only in Italy. Since day one he has been a leader for this team, he has always fielded fantastic performances. With Milan, he is experiencing and expressing one of his best moments in his career. His relationship with Pioli is wonderful, they are highly esteemed. He got the best out of him.”
On the player’s recovery process:
“The recovery is proceeding well. The plan is to get back on the pitch as soon as possible, without forcing anything. From there, Simon will return to being one of the most important players and a leader for Milan. For the start of next season, he should be on the pitch regularly.”
