AC Milan has a network of important scouts all over Europe but also in the South America region. The work of Geoffrey Moncada is always ongoing as the aim is to find important talents to improve the quality of the team at the disposal of Stefano Pioli.

According to what is reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, AC Milan have a permanent scout who is based in South America. He has been sending reports to the Rossoneri management about two talents in particular.
As per the Italian journalist, the profiles in question are Enzo Fernandez who is a 21-year-old Argentinian central midfielder of River Plate and Carlos Alcaraz who occupies the same position and plays for Racing Club.
Enzo Fernandez was linked to the club by Tuttosport first yesterday as they claim that the directors have his approval and that the player has a release clause built into his contract with River Plate at 18 million euros.
Alcaraz, on the other hand is a 19-year-old Argentinian central midfielder with a contract valid until June 2026. He has 5 goals and 2 assists after 20 appearances this season. It remains to be seen if AC Milan will continue pursuing one of the two players.
