Gerry Cardinale, owner and chief executive of RedBird Capital Partners is close to finalising a deal for the purchase of the club. The former Goldman Sachs banker should be in town tomorrow (as per a report here) to sign on the paperwork necessary for the purchase of the AC Milan club from Elliott Management Corporation.
Corriere della Sera have also reported similar news regarding the future of the club and have attached an important hint: Gerry Cardinale was in fact in town last week during the Scudetto celebrations of the Rossoneri.
