AC Milan, after a Scudetto victory for the first time since 2011, want to to continue the hard work by improving more and going to the next level in terms of performances to be able to compete in the Champions League. In order to do that, there are are some quality additions that the Rossoneri managers are eyeing up. But, on the other hand, Inter are building their own team too as they want to get back to the top of Serie A.

According to what is reported by Il Corriere della Sera, the two Milanese clubs are in a mercato derby. The Nerazzurri and Rossoneri have two different mercato strategies. On the one hand, Inter are trying to sign bigger names with strength and experience to themselves such as the already defined purchase of Mkhitaryan or the very close goals of Lukaku and Dybala. On the other hand, their cousins, AC Milan, they continue to focus mainly on young, talented players, ready to grow with the club, like Charles De Ketelaere or Sven Botman. This is proof that RedBird, the new majority owners of the club, want to continue the work and strategy of Elliott management.
