Newcastle have signed Sven Botman. The Dutch defender joins the English club on a deal valid until June 2027 as AC Milan could not compete with the Magpies financially to please the requests of Lille. The Rossoneri management, therefore, are looking at other candidates in the defence and there are quite a few names who are on the radar of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara.
According to the latest update shared by Gianluca Di Marzio, an old target returns to the radar. We are talking about PSG's Senegalese centre-back Abdou Diallo. He is 26 years old with a contract valid until June 2024. In the last season, he only made 16 appearances. Diallo is a flexible defender, capable of covering multiple roles in the defensive line.
Among the other younger profiles, there is the name of Piero Hincapié. The defender from Ecuador plays currently for German side Bayer Leverkusen with a valid contract until June 2026. The 20-year-old is an important part of the squad for them as he made 33 appearances with 2 goals and 1 assist in 2183 minutes played overall in the latest season. He stands at 184 centimetres and is left-footed.
Gleison Bremer, on the other hand, remains a name in the agenda of the AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara. But for now, Inter remain ahead to land him.
