Newly promoted club to Serie A, Monza, which is run by Silvio Berlusconi as president and owner with Adriano Galliani as chairman, are leading an important mercato in order to stay in the top flight.
Their latest signing seems to be Atalanta's star Matteo Pessina, who played for AC Milan before. The Rossoneri are keeping a close eye on the situation as the Italian playmaker arrives to his new club on loan with the obligation to buy (triggered in case of staying in Serie A). The fee would be set at 15 million euros, writes Gianluca Di Marzio.
In the agreement between Milan and Atalanta, there is a 50% on any future resale if Pessina leaves the Bergamo club after not reaching 100 official games in total. Pessina did not reach that Milestone and is now heading to Monza. Medical examinations with Monza are expected to take place this coming Wednesday.
