La Gazzetta dello Sport discuss the contractual situation of AC Milan's Algerian midfielder Ismael Bennacer and defender Pierre Kalulu. The first's deal expires in 2024 while the other's deadline is in 2025. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara want to anticipate the times and renew their contracts early.
According to the newspaper, the former Empoli and Arsenal midfielder should see his yearly net salary go from 1.5 million euros to 3.5 million plus bonuses. There is no agreement in place, yet. But, the feeling is that they reach it.
As for Pierre Kalulu, the talks between his agents and club are ongoing as both parties try to find the right conditions for the extension with the player willing to put pen to paper as he said in an interview last month:
"We are talking about the renewal of my contract with my representatives and the club. When you play in a winning team, you absolutely want to stay there."
