AC Milan central defender Matteo Gabbia, is having an uncertain future for now. The player is currently with the Rossoneri squad in Austria but it is not excluded that he may end up with another team before the season starts.

The Rossoneri managers Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are working also on the defensive market and for now, a farewell to the Milan Primavera graduate must simply be put on hold, at least until a new defender arrives.
Matteo Gabbia, for his part, needs to play more minutes to gain experience and it seems that Italian side Sampdoria, coached by Marco Giampaolo, are interested in him, as per Calciomercato.com. They have been moving for him for quite some time for him in order to sign him on loan in view of this new season.
