There is finally some progress in the deal for Charles De Ketelaere with the AC Milan club managers, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, keen on improving their offer to sign the 21-year-old talent.
The Rossoneri getting closer to the attacking midfielder of Club Brugge made them also put the negotiations for Hakim Ziyech on hold.
According to Tuttosport.com, Milan see the Morocco international more of an alternative to De Ketelaere than an additional signing.
AC Milan management, though, could focus again on Hakim Ziyech in the coming few weeks if one of the right-wingers were to leave: Alexis Saelemaekers or Junior Messias, adds the report of the daily Turin-based newspaper.
