AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara still have important tasks to do in the mercato as they need to reinforce the team with the resources they have available after having signed Charles De Ketelaere.
Among the departments that still may need an addition is the midfield. Renato Sanches who was understandably the main target is now set to sign with Paris Saint-Germain. Aston Villa's Carney Chukwuemeka signs for Chelsea and it seems that a new name is on the shortlist of the AC Milan managers.
As per Antonio Vitiello, journalist of Milannews.it on his YouTube channel, it seems that the Rossoneri are evaluating the profile of 27-year-old Ivorian defensive midfielder Seko Fofana. There have been no negotiations, however, with Fofana's club Lens. But, he is highly liked by the Milan club.
In the video, Antonio Vitiello also says that we must watch out and keep an eye on the trail of Pape Matar Sarr, 19-year-old Senegalese central midfielder of Tottenham who was at FC Metz in Ligue 1 last season, on loan. He is also on AC Milan's radar.
Would love fofana for the right price
