Former Anderlecht and Ajax striker, Jan Mulder, does not seem to be pleased about the choice of Charles De Ketelaere of joining AC Milan instead of going to the Premier League.
Here are his words to HLN.BE:
"I don’t understand anything about this transfer. Obviously he should have gone to the Premier League because it’s the best league in the world. Milan and the Serie A, that’s where celebrities go in their twilight these days. Leeds plays in the Premier League and Leeds also play attractive football. Football that suits De Ketelaere."
In an older interview to Sport Magazine, Jan Mulder also said the following about a possible transfer of Charles De Ketelaere:
"Charles will, of course, continue his career abroad. I am curious which choice he will make. Spain and Italy are not that interesting anymore; England has the most money. But above all: you can develop the best there", He compared him to Robin Van Persie by saying the following: "Robin van Persie went from Feyenoord to Arsenal at the time, and six months later, he had become twice as good."
