Damien Comolli is the president of Toulouse FC, newly promoted club to Ligue 1, a club that is owned by RedBird Capital Partners. The French director, formerly at Liverpool, Saint-Etienne and Tottenham, spoke to Actu.fr and was asked about AC Milan who should be also owned by RedBird Capital Partners. Here are his words:
"The closing for Milan is scheduled for September 6. We will have a better vision of what will happen after this date. The two clubs will be independent. A collaboration between the two clubs? We haven't talked about it. But anything is possible. Anything that can make us progress will be good to take. But I confess that this is not a subject that we have discussed for the moment."
