AC Milan defender, Simon Kjaer, has spoken to DAZN after a draw against Sassuolo. Here are his words:
"270 days are a lot, a lot of work and a lot of sacrifices. I am very happy to be back on the pitch and lend a hand to the team. I'm fine, but I wouldn't have made this decision when I was 24."
On the match:
"Obviously, we had to win. In my opinion, we did better than them, but it was a bit of a surprise that Sassuolo played everything behind and were happy for a point. We are clearly the champions of Italy. Something was missing in the finalization and in the last step."
Kjaer added:
"We worked hard to take advantage of the depth with the players we have. Every now and then it is forced and the game must be read better to better manage. Other times, however, there are second balls that create a mess, but today they were well organized and there were 11 behind the ball."
On the injuries in the match:
"When you've spent so much time out, even though I've played against Berardi, you never want something bad to happen. I hope nothing bad has happened: we want to play against the best and he is one of them."
