The head coach of Croatian team Ante Cacic, spoke to the media following the loss against AC Milan at the San Siro. Here are his words in the press conference:

“When you lose, you can’t be totally satisfied. We made some mistakes, including the penalty. Then, we had the strength to reopen the game. However, we couldn’t catch up to them. We were playing against a strong team, I congratulate them.”

On playing the defence against AC Milan:

“Milan are a compact and fast team, they have a very strong left wing like Leao and Theo. Then, they have Giroud too. They always do the right things. It is really difficult to play against these players.”

On the favourites in the group and if Dinamo Zagreb still have a chance:

“We have never been favorites in these matches, we will do our best to play it all out: we did it in the first match (vs Chelsea), today we did less, due to playing against Milan. Croatian Serie A is not Italian Serie A. Milan or Chelsea favourites? They are excellent teams. But, in football, the favourites don’t always win.”

Who is better, Rafael Leao or Raheem Sterling? Ante Cacic said the following:

“Between the two, I would prefer Leao at the moment. I wish him a wonderful career, and I am sure he will have one.”
