In Denmark's defeat against Croatia, 2-1, the captain Simon Kjaer suffered a slight pain in his ankle. The player had to be taken off the pitch at around the 74th minute.

The coach of the Danish national team said the following words about the experienced defender: “Kjaer felt a slight pain in his ankle, so we will evaluate it. We won’t send him home now. At present, the idea is to stay here with us.”

According to DAZN now, there is indeed nothing too worrying regarding Simon Kjaer's injury of last night. He is supposed to be regularly available for the match against Empoli on October 1.
