Head coach of Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri, spoke with the media in today's press conference about the much-anticipated game against the Rossoneri. Here are his words:
"We will play against the Italian champions, it will be a more difficult match than usual, they come from a bad defeat and they will want to make up for it in front of a full stadium. We have all the conditions to do well."
He added:
"Now we just have to do some results without thinking about last season, between Salerno and Monza we lost 5 points and we could have done 6, we must take a step forward in every sense. Bonucci should be back, Milik? He is much better, there are still 24 hours he should be there but I will evaluate him between today and tomorrow."
Allegri on how to stop Milan:
"To avoid it, you have to be good at not giving Leao space and opportunities to launch counter-attacks. But, they also have (Olivier) Giroud, (Brahim) Diaz and (Charles) De Ketelaere. We have to play a good game under the level of personality, mental strength and technique."
He concluded:
"Milan are doing better because they have 4 points more. I can only congratulate Pioli for what he is doing and for the championship he won last year."
