AC Milan's victory tonight came against Hellas Verona who were difficult to face, as usual, in their stadium. Their newly appointed head coach and former Milan player, Salvatore Bocchetti, has spoken to DAZN after the game wihch ended in a loss for his side in a 1-2 result. He said:
"I found a team a bit down these negative results. The enthusiasm of these years had been lost, but the boys welcomed me well and made themselves available. Let's not forget that today we played against the Italian champions: we should applaud the guys who played a great match today."
Bocchetti added:
"There have been some losses in the squad, but there are excellent players and you can work well with them. Today they gave me a great answer: I'm confident. On the second goal, Veloso is late on Tonali, but his partner (Gunter) had to squeeze towards the center. Who am I inspired by? To those I grew up with: from Gasperini to Juric, up to Tudor."
