AC Milan beat Monza 4-1 in a strong show of force. Stefano Pioli‘s team, despite some rotations, still ran supreme against Raffaele Palladino’s team. Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani returned to the San Siro as adversaries this time. However, the red and black faithful brought home 3 valuable points.
The goals of the Serie A champions were scored by Brahim Diaz on two occasions in the first half (the first goal was assisted by Ciprian Tatarusanu). Then, Divock Origi made it 3-0. Rafael Leao scored the 4th goal for AC Milan in the 84th minute. Monza’s only goal came from a stunning free-kick by 21-year-old Italian midfielder and loanee from Juventus Filippo Ranocchia.
Currently, Milan have 26 points after 11 games. Napoli remains first but with same amount of points collected after 10 games. Tomorrow, they face 4th placed AS Roma team of José Mourinho. Atalanta are 3rd with 24 points after 10 matches played and tomorrow, they play against Lazio at home.
