AC Milan's Primavera side, coached by Ignazio Abate, continue their strong path in the UEFA Youth League competition. The Rossoneri boys won against RB Salzburg 2-1.
In the first half, the guests tried to push hard in search of victory. In the second half time, the Austrians took the lead in the 48th minute. Marko Lazetic, however, found the equaliser in the 50th minute. Italian forward Gabriele Alesi, scored the second goal in the 52nd minute thanks to an assist by Antonio Gala.
Abate's Rossoneri therefore qualify for the round of 16 in first place in group E ahead of RB Salzburg, Dinamo Zagreb and Chelsea.
AC Milan, therefore, are first in the UEFA Youth League with 14 points. RB Salzburg are second with 8. Dinamo Zagreb are third with 6 points while Chelsea have 5 points.
