AC Milan's midfield needs to be reinforced and the club directors, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara could choose the option of trying to sign an experienced player who can add a lot to the squad of head coach Stefano Pioli.
According to what is reported by Spanish newspaper Sport, a player who may be on the radar of the Serie A champions is Chelsea's Jorginho. The player's agent held talks with the club directors of La Liga outfit FC Barcelona. However, AC Milan are in the scene.
Jorginho, 30 years old, former star of Napoli, could choose return to Italy through the gates of Milanello. His contract expires in June 2023. AC Milan, however, may have an advantage over Barcelona in terms of wages. The Spaniards need to lower their wage bill while in Italy, there is a less less aggressive tax policy for players coming from foreign leagues.
