AC Milan renewed contracts of several players (Theo Hernandez, Fikayo Tomori, Tommaso Pobega, Sandro Tonali and just yesterday Pierre Kalulu). But, there are a few more players to lock down on new deals such as Olivier Giroud, Ismael Bennacer and Rafael Leao.
The Portuguese forward, is proving to be a very difficult case for the red and black faithful. The contract demands are high and some reports are suggesting that the player's entourage expect Milan to contribute to paying the fine owed by the player to Sporting Lisbon.
Now, according to the latest news from Spanish newspaper Sport, another top European club has shown interest in recruiting the former Lille star. Rafael Leao would be in the radar of La Liga giants Real Madrid with Napoli's Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
Leao, as per the source, represents an easier and feasible deal to Los Blancos. His contract expires in June 2024 and he is yet to renew with AC Milan.
