According to what is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper, AC Milan and their rivals Inter have shown interest in one player in particular so far in the World Cup competition.
As per the newspaper report, the name in question is Piero Hinacipié of Ecuador's national team. He is 20 years of age, he plays both as a central defender and also as a left-back.
Hincapié has 18 appearances with his club, Bayer Leverkusen so far this season and he has managed to score 1 goal. In the World Cup, he participated in the three games of the group stage: beating Qatar 2-0, drawing with the Netherlands 1-1 and losing to Senegal 2-1.
