AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara were volunteers for a day in favour of 'Opera San Francesco', which is a non-profit organisation dedicated to help the needy. The AC Milan executives were helping in the service at the canteen in Corso Concordia in Milan.
Opera San Francesco published a video on their Twitter account with Paolo Maldini's words:
"We did an hour of volunteering and it was a beautiful and touching experience. I think it also serves to keep our feet on the ground. An experience that filled our hearts."
Frederic Massara also had these words to say:
"Very nice. We have experienced first-hand this reality of all these OFS volunteers who are close to the many people in difficulty. Here there is a widespread cordiality that is contagious. Opera San Francesco is necessary."
The OFS tweet reads: "Champions in sport and generosity. Thank you."
