According to what has been reported by those at Calciomercatoweb.it, AC Milan have set their sights on a possible transfer operation: signing Nacho Fernandez from Real Madrid in January for a low fee before his contract expiry in the summer. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara could accelerate talks for him as they are already in contacts with intermediaries (who are also working on the Zaniolo deal between Milan and Roma).
Nacho is very experienced thanks to the participations at the highest levels with Los Blancos. He is a versatile centre-back and is 33 years of age. It is not excluded that AC Milan try to sign him in January, maybe for around 4 or 5 million euros and Carlo Ancelotti could even give the green light to such operation, concludes the same source.
