The sale of the AC Milan football club from Elliott Investment Management is now the hot topic of discussion once again for the media.
According to what is reported by ANSA, the financial police are conducting some scrutiny over the sale of Milan from the Elliott Fund to RedBird of Gerry Cardinale last August following a complaint from former partner Blue Skye.
The file is currently under the control of the Milan Prosecutor and his deputy. At the moment, however, there is nothing suspected. The investigations have nothing to do with Casa Milan, but with regard to the transaction that took place between the Elliott Fund and RedBird. Blue Skye was a former shareholder in AC Milan prior to its sale and allegedly did not agree to the sale of the club. At the same time, the company dropped the appeal hearing, though the civil suit against Elliott will remain pending.
Blue Skye
