AC Milan's management, consisting of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, have identified a potential candidate to reinforce their attacking midfield.
They are eyeing a player who is currently playing in Serie A, namely Lazar Samardzic. Milan aims to initiate negotiations with Udinese, the Friulian club, before the summer, and it is likely that Udinese will demand a substantial sum for Samardzic's transfer, likely between 15 and 20 million euros. Napoli is also pursuing the player, and there are reported interests from the Premier League. Thus, the estimated value of Samardzic's transfer could even rise to 30 million euros, as per La Repubblica.
Samardzic, 20, is no stranger to AC Milan's transfer radar as the club was previously linked with him. Currently playing for Udinese, he has scored four goals and provided two assists after 23 appearances in Serie A and Coppa Italia. The left-footed German attacking midfielder with Serbian heritage has a valid contract with Udinese until June 2026.
