As reported by the daily Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport in this morning's print edition, "Operation new Juventus sporting director: Massara in pole position, zero confirmations on Moncada"
As per the source mentioned above, Juventus are evaluating reinforcements for the sporting department for the upcoming season and may start searching for a new sporting director. Currently, the favourite candidate seems to be AC Milan's sports director Ricky Massara.
The former AS Roma director, now at AC Milan, seems close to leaving the Rossoneri club at the end of the season. Massara is liked by Juventus, who are courting him.
'More will be known soon, but the news is simple: Massara is the favourite to become the next sporting director of Juve. At the moment, there is no confirmation that he will bring head of scouting department Geoffrey Moncada with him from the same side,' writes the newspaper.
