AC Milan are scouring the market for possible reinforcements for the men's first team who are coached by Stefano Pioli. The transfer window of the summer is still far away. But, it never hurts to start plotting for some opportunities. In this context, the profile of Lewis Ferguson, 23-year-old Scottish central midfielder of Italian outfit Bologna has been linked with a move to the San Siro.
Speaking to 'Off The Record', Ferguson's agent revealed: "There is interest from AC Milan and Juventus. Bologna is open to everything. I have people working for me in Italy and they have already received requests. I think they will look for at least £8 million (about €9 million)."
"That being said, Bologna received 20 million for Aaron Hickey (from Brentford) and he only played 48 games for them. Ferguson deserves the best. He has learned the language and a new culture, which has done him good. He is very professional, he has a class of his own," the comments of Ferguson's agent. The Scottish footballer, under contract with Bologna until June 30, 2026, has so far played 18 games with the team between Serie A (17) and Coppa Italia (one), scoring 3 goals in the league (against Lecce, Monza, and Sassuolo) in a total of 1,235 minutes on the field.
