Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, AC Milan's esteemed directors, are known for their ability to spot raw talent that has the potential to bloom into something special. And the latest transfer rumour suggests that they are looking to continue building a young quality team.
According to a report from Pianeta Milan, Maldini and Massara, with the guidance of the club's head of scouting, Geoffrey Moncada, have their sights set on Luka Vušković, a towering 193 cm central defender for Hajduk Split's U19 team. Born in 2007, Vušković is already considered a future star of Croatian and international football, and has also shown promise as a defensive midfielder. He has been impressing in the UEFA Youth League, and recently renewed his contract with Hajduk until January 18, 2026.
Despite the contract renewal, AC Milan is said to be keeping a close eye on Vušković's progress, with a view to making a move for him in the summer transfer window if they are convinced by his development.
