Italian journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio, has spoken to Sky Sport Italia minutes before the match of AC Milan against Udinese. He spoke about Rafael Leao and his situation with the Rossoneri club:
“I don’t think the contract can have any kind of influence on Leao’s performance. First of all because there is still a year and a half to go before the expiry date. Secondly, there is an ongoing renewal negotiation with offers from Milan and requests from the player.”
Di Marzio continued to talk about Leao’s situation:
“I remain, against the tide of public opinion, confident that Leao will renew his contract with Milan and that in the end an agreement will be found. From the signals that I have, it is not yet a closed agreement but the parties are negotiating with a great desire to remain together.”
