Speaking to DAZN microphones, Massimiliano Allegri analysed the defeat of his Juventus side against Empoli and highlighted the 10-point deduction which made his team 7th in the league standings while AC Milan became 4th. Here are his statements:
“We mustn’t find excuses. We have two games to play, and Milan is on Sunday. It’s not easy to receive the communication of the penalty shortly before the start of the match. It’s a lack of respect towards me and the players. We had the opportunity to compete with Milan for entry into the Champions League, but unfortunately, it turned out this way. That being said, the team has earned 69 points.”
