AC Milan's central midfielder Sandro Tonali is close to signing a deal with Newcastle United who are ready to offer him a very big salary: 8 million euros plus bonuses in a 6-year deal. The Rossoneri club, will also receive a significant fee. The English say they don't want to go beyond 65 million, while Milan asks for more, but in a negotiation like this, the outcome is predictable: the agreement between the clubs is reached. Probably around 70 million. Tonali said yes and, unless there are any plot twists, he will be a new Newcastle player soon.  as per Gazzetta.it. Chelsea wre also reportedly interested, in the background, ready to offer cash plus a player. However, Newcastle gained advantage eventually.

AC Milan on Davide Frattesi?

AC Milan have always considered a sale, although, of course, they didn't expect to receive an offer like this for Tonali. In recent days, they have prepared countermeasures. Three names for three great stories: Romelu Lukaku, Davide Frattesi, Marcus Thuram.

Davide Frattesi immediately became the primary target for the midfield. Inter, Juventus, and Roma have been negotiating with Sassuolo for a long time, but now Milan is gathering information and accelerating. Sassuolo is willing to sell for 35 million euros, preferably with bonuses to reach 40... and Milan can afford it now. The game is open. Inter is confident due to the agreement reached with Frattesi; they are the historical favourite but need to sell Brozovic to Saudi Arabia to finance the operation. Juventus met Sassuolo yesterday, reiterating their strong interest and the possibility of including Matias Soulé or Koni De Winter in a potential transfer: they believe they appeal to Frattesi and will play their cards. Roma is in the second row and has a percentage on a resale. At this point, Frattesi's willingness will be decisive.

Marcus Thuram remains on the agenda of AC Milan...

Marcus Thuram, on the other hand, has been the top name for the attack for a while. The most protracted negotiation of this Rossoneri month is about to step up. AC Milan expects an answer by tomorrow, and optimism is growing: the feeling in Milan is that Lilian's son has chosen the Rossoneri. He can arrive for free, with a salary around 5 to 5.5 million euros per season and probably a signing bonus: significant figures, but still lower than those proposed by Paris Saint-Germain. The final word cannot be written yet, although Milan is truly confident in closing the deal.

Shocking transfer: Lukaku to AC Milan?

However, a sensational idea has emerged at Casa Milan in these hours. AC Milan are considering Romelu Lukaku, who in eight days, at the end of the official season, will return to Chelsea after his loan spell at Inter. It is unlikely that he will stay in London. Inter are in talks with the Blues, and Piero Ausilio has already been to England to ask for a loan renewal on more favorable terms, relying on the fact that Lukaku has always told Inter that he wants to stay. However, AC Milan are thinking of the sensational double blow in the derby, Frattesi plus Lukaku, with the idea of negotiating with Chelsea for the permanent transfer as well. How much does Lukaku cost? Less than you might think. Chelsea paid 109 million plus bonuses from their balance sheet, but they won't ask for anything similar. They could accept an offer around 40 million euros, says Gazzetta.it, and Inter can't currently afford that fee, but perhaps Milan can. Therefore, once again, Lukaku's decision will be crucial: Inter hopes that, as he has said many times in the past, 'Big Rom' won't go to their cousins, but...never say never. AC Milan seem ready to include him in an XL attack with Giroud and Thuram: yes, it's sensational. And with Chelsea, keep an eye on Loftus-Cheek, who continues to appeal to Milan.
