Today, UEFA issued communicated an important decision regarding the investigation opened concerning Milan and Toulouse, among others, due to a potential conflict with the multi-club ownership rule outlined in Article 5 of the UEFA Club Competitions Regulations.
The CFCB (Club Financial Control Body) did not identify any critical issues, and both clubs are admitted to the next Champions League (Milan) and Europa League (Toulouse), provided they comply with the following conditions:
- The clubs will not transfer players to each other, either permanently or on loan, directly or indirectly, until September 2024;
- The clubs will not enter into any form of cooperation, technical or commercial agreements;
- The clubs will not use any shared scouting or player databases.
- The CFCB First Chamber will continue to monitor the aforementioned clubs to ensure that the multi-club ownership rule continues to be respected in the future.
