After reaching an agreement for Pulisic, AC Milan is also aiming to strengthen their midfield. The initial offer, considered too low by AZ Alkmaar, was rejected, prompting the club to make another move for Reijnders. The Rossoneri have submitted a second official proposal to the Dutch club, amounting to 19 million euros plus 4 million in bonuses. At that point, AZ will take approximately twenty-four hours to make a decision on what to do next. Therefore, Wednesday will be a decisive day.
As for the attack, the pursuit of Taremi remains alive. The forward has been proposed to Milan, but the price tag of 25 million euros for his transfer has been deemed excessive by the Rossoneri due to the player's age and contractual situation (he only has one year left with Porto). AC Milan is continuing to hold talks with intermediary Jorge Mendes in order to lower the demands of the Portuguese club.
If the forward were to arrive, all the non-EU player slots in the squad would be filled, so multiple options are being kept open, including the pursuit of Chukwueze, and a decision will be made later depending on who closes the deal first.
