AC Milan are still on the hunt for a striker to bolster Stefano Pioli's squad. Geoffrey Moncada and his collaborators are keeping a close eye on Iranian player Mehdi Taremi from Porto. But, even Inter are also on him.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the red and black side of Milano has already made a move for the Porto centre-forward. They presented an initial offer to the Portuguese giants. But, the offer was deemed not enough. In fact, Porto are asking for 30 million euros and it is uncertain whether they would accept a fee around 25 million euros. Therefore, at least 25 million euros plus bonuses may be necessary in order to start the talks and even secure the player.
Inter are also evaluating the 30-year-old's profile. Taremi, former player of Rio Ave, still has a future to be written. He will decide his team soon, with the help of intermediary Jorge Mendes. The super agent is looking after the interests of the striker. The decision regarding the striker's future will, therefore, be the result of joint consideration between the player and his entourage, in which Mendes' experience carries weight.
