Between AC Milan and Fodé Ballo-Touré, there is palpable tension. The Senegalese full-back has rejected the offer from Fulham because he wants to go to a team where he can play as a starter. The former AS Monaco took a lot of time only to refuse the offer eventually which made the Rossoneri club frustrated and disappointed with how he behaved, making them miss out on a 4-million euros deal.
As per Calciomercato.com, the Senegalese player is still placed on the transfer list and there are still some teams interested in signing him. However, Milan has made it clear to the player that they will only consider permanent transfer offers and not loan deals. If he departs, AC Milan's idea is to pursue Riccardo Calafiori from Swiss outfit FC Basel. The Rossoneri management sees this as a gamble on an Italian player with significant potential to revive his career. Much will depend on Basel's demands, as the budget available to AC Milan is currently low after making eight acquisitions in recent weeks.
Another option could be Rogerio from Sassuolo, who was developed in Italy. However, there is little interest in Luca Pellegrini at the moment, even though there have been some contacts with the agent of the Italian full-back of Juentus. He is not considered a top priority currently for AC Milan.
