AC Milan are scouring the market for a central defender who can reinforce the team of Stefano Pioli. This summer, Matteo Gabbia left on loan to Villarreal and Caldara returned from a loan spell at Spezia. However, the 29-year-old centre-back could leave the club in the coming weeks as Hellas Verona are keeping an eye on him.
Meanwhile, AC Milan are keeping an eye on two young defenders: the Italian-Argentinian Marco Pellegrino who is 21 years old from Atletico Platense and Greek talent Konstantinos Koulierakis who is 19 years old from PAOK.
The Greek player is left-footed, like Pellegrino. His contract runs until December 2026. So far, he has played two UEFA Conference League games with his club. As per Transfermarkt, he is valued at around 2.5 million euros.
