AC Milan who have secured the transfer of Marco Pellegrino (pending medical examinations and official announcements), will be looking to reinforce the defensive area once again, but this time in the left-back position. With Fodé Ballo-Touré getting closer to leave the club, the Rossoneri are keeping an eye on some talents to replace him, such as Riccardo Calafiori.
Calafiori is 21 years old. He is a former Genoa and AS Roma player who currently plays for FC Basel. He is seen as a candidate to replace Ballo-Touré as Theo Hernandez's backup.
According to DAZN's journalist Orazio Accomando, however, it seems that there is strong interest from Bologna for the player. Bologna appear to be close to sealing a deal with Swiss side FC Basel as they are working on sorting out all the details.
