AC Milan's newest signing will be Marco Pellegrino. The Rossoneri club reached an agreement with Platense based on a fixed transfer fee worth 3 million euros plus bonuses as well as a percentage of a future resale.
Tonight, the Rossoneri players will be on the field to take on Bologna while he will quietly arrive at Linate airport in Milan. Tomorrow morning, the Argentinian centre-back who holds an Italian passport will undergo medical examinations and fitness tests before signing on the contract. Il Corriere dello Sport in today's print edition highlighted the player's arrival to Milan with the following headline:
"Pellegrino is the ninth acquisition, then it's the attack's turn."
Two players are missing, and Milan will have bought an entire football team – and it's not certain that it won't happen. The Rossoneri management might move towards signing a striker and then decide to loan out Lorenzo Colombo: everything will depend on the opportunities in the final days of the transfer market. Fodé Ballo-Tourè is also on the way out, which could unlock the arrival of a new backup for Theo.
