Renato Sanches, the new AS Roma midfielder, will return from injury after the international break in early September. He will miss the match against AC Milan scheduled for September 1 at the 'Olimpico' Stadium.
José Mourinho, the Roma coach, spoke about the situation in a press conference today:
"Surprised that Renato cannot play? No, just look at his history. If he hadn't had so many injuries, he would be a starter at PSG and wouldn't have come to Roma. I think he will return after the break. Given his medical history, I believe pushing for his recovery too soon isn't the right direction. After the break, he will be given time to recover from the injury, and the staff will get him in condition."
