Simon Kjaer, AC Milan's defender, gave some statements to 'San Marino RTV' after the match between Denmark and San Marino, part of the Euro2024 qualifiers. Here are his words.
On AC Milan:
"This year we have a team, but also last year, with excellent players. We have been together for three years where we have improved and can find new ways to do things. Continuity in football is good, it's good for you. We have taken excellent players, we have two for each position and we hope for a good year. We have an excellent team."
On the Champions League group:
"Yes, I prefer it this way. Playing against strong teams, in the Champions League you want to face the strongest."
Kjaer on the favourites to advance to the next round in the Champions League group:
"It's an open group, it depends on the details in each game. Every game is a 50/50, then it always depends on the moment and the day. But we will definitely advance, and for me, it's not important who else advances."
On favorites for the Serie A title:
"It's early. We still want to give our all to try to compete for the title this year. It's a goal and it should always be that way when you're Milan."
