AC Milan's Fikayo Tomori will not be included in the team sheet for the derby this September 16 at the San Siro which will be valid for matchday 4 of the Serie A. But, it seems that even Pierre Kalulu will be unavailable too. The Frenchman was the likely choice of Stefano Pioli to replace the English centre-back. However, the former Olympique Lyonnais talent was injured in recent days.
Tuttosport reported this morning that the French player will undergo further checks on the injured muscle between tomorrow and Friday. This suggests that his call-up for the Milan derby is practically impossible. Pioli thus loses another central defender after Tomori, and he approaches Saturday's derby with a certain emergency in the heart of defense.
It's too early for AC Milan to deploy Marco Pellegrino in such a complicated game...
It will be Simon Kjaer's job to replace the former Chelsea player. He will be the partner of Malick Thiaw against Inter. The other alternative, though, is Marco Pellegrino. However, the young defender who arrived on a permanent transfer in the previous summer transfer window from Club Atlético Platense has been at Milanello for a short time and has not played a single minute yet on the pitch with his new teammates.
