After an embarrassing loss in the derby, AC Milan must bounce back and prove that they're a capable and strong team, and they must do so tonight against Newcastle United in the Champions League fixture in the group stage.
The former Newcastle player, Sandro Tonali, has so many emotions inside of him, but he vowed to put them aside when the match starts as he is determined to help his own team get a good result.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports this morning and writes that three lineup changes are expected for AC Milan compared to Saturday's game. The first is in defense where Fikayo Tomori will return from the first minute after missing the derby due to suspension: the English defender will replace Simon Kjaer and return as a starter alongside Malick Thiaw in the center of Milan's defense.
Another possible change is in midfield where Pioli will have to give Tijjani Reijnders a rest, ne of the most used players so far. In his place, there should be Tomasso Pobega.
In the attack, it is likely that Christian Pulisic will be given a breather while Samuel Chukwueze finally has his chance to start from the first minute and prove what he's all about. For the Nigerian, who has not yet convinced when coming on in the second half, this is an important opportunity to start showing his qualities on the right wing.
